For "Singh Is Kinng" sequel

Movie buffs can't get over watching this couple on screen and filmmakers too aren't tired of directing them again and again.

Now, just as Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar's next film together De Dana Dan inches closer to it's big release in theatres, comes the news that director Vipul Amrutlal Shah is casting the two together again in the sequel to the last year's hit movie Singh Is Kinng which was directed by Anees Bazmee.

Shah has confirmed that the script of the sequel has been written keeping Akshay and Katrina in mind.

"Singh Is Kinng (sequel) cannot be made without both the actors. I think even the audience wants to see the two of them together again," Shah is quoted as saying.

The first part of the film had Akki playing a goofy, bumbling Sikh Happy Singh who goes to Australia to bring back an errant don (a sikh) back to his village.

The sequel, to roll by the middle of next year, will reportedly be made on a larger scale. Katrina too will have a meatier role in the sequel than she had in the first movie.
