Tanu Weds Manu expected to be sucessfull film

The year has gone on a downward spiral after a good beginning with No One Killed Jessica and Yamla Pagla Deewana and now it could be Tanu Weds Manu that gets the box office ticking again.

The film has hit music which is a big plus. In the North the music is a huge hit, infact number one for the year till date. The film is also carrying good pre-release reports.

Another advantage is none of films playing at the theatres at present is doing well and Tanu Weds Manu has numerous open weeks in front of it

The World Cup will cut into its business on the days India is playing but if the film is liked it will not make much difference as the clear run will enable it to make up the 25-30% lost on the day India plays. The odds look good for Tanu Weds Manu being the third success of the year as long as the content matches its pre release reports and music.

The film has fetched around 6.75 crore in MGs (Minimum Guarantee) from all around India except Mumbai, Thane and Maharasthra where it has not been sold.
