Animation Film By Indian Company running In Oscar List

The movie was released across 2625 screens, covering the US and Canada regions in September, 2010, of which 1500 were 3D screens; making it the highest number of screens an animation film by an Indian Production house has ever been released across.

It successfully ran for twelve weeks in theatres there.

The first weekend Box Office collections (first three days’ collections) for Alpha & Omega out of North America alone were USD $9.1 million.

Crest Animation Studios is the only Indian Production Company to receive such collections/weekend gross opening in North America alone.

To date, Alpha and Omega has grossed approx. USD $ 42 million at Box Office ie INR 190 crores.

Based on the initial opening weekend numbers and market projections, the gross revenue of the movie across all revenue streams, over the next 12 to 15 months, is expected to cross USD 100 million (Rs.450 Crores).

The good part of the film is that both family and children have equally enjoyed this roller coaster adventure.
