Katrina Kaif ready for a scintillating dance Commonwealth Games

If South Africa roped in the world renowned Shakira to perk up the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Johannesburg, then New Delhi, we hear, is eyeing Bollywood stunner Katrina Kaif to do the same at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games to be held in October this year.

According to rumours, Katrina has been approached to perform at the gala event. She will dance to the Commonwealth Games anthem, to be composed by the ace music director A R Rahman.

So far, things are being kept hush-hush and no confirmation is forthcoming either from the actress or from the CWG organizing committee.

A source, however, says that the organizers are definitely looking forward to rope in celebs from Bollywood to make the opening ceremony a glittering affair. In fact, A R Rahman, who became world renowned after winning two Oscars last year, is also being wooed for a live performance.
