Sweety Sonam Kapoors Shocking Snub

Dont know whether Sonam Kapoor is too picky or high-handed, but the girl certainly seems too self assured to get carried away by big names. So when an offer came her way for a role in a film to be produced by none other than the master craftsman Mani Ratnam, Sonam didnt sign on the dotted line blindly.

She was approached for a film called Paki to be directed by Ratnams former assistant Shiva. The story is scripted by Ratnam himself based on real incidents and characters.

Vivek Oberoi was approached for an important role and he lapped the film without hesitation. But Sonam, it turned out, had her doubts when she heard her role. As a result she turned down the film.

According to Sonams spokesperson, she declined the offer because she did not like her role.

However, Mani, being the gentleman that he is, took her refusal sportingly.
